INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL NAMES LOURDES RODRÍGUEZ SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Lourdes Rodríguez is promoted to position of senior vice president of Operations.
MIAMI, FL, 22 de abril de 2003 – Interval International, a leading global vacation exchange company, leisure lifestyle and travel related benefits provider, today announced the promotion of Lourdes Rodríguez to the position of senior vice president of Operations.
In her new role, Ms. Rodríguez will assume responsibility for worldwide fulfillment and distribution services, resort assistance and quality assurance. She will continue to direct all operational aspects of Interval’s 15 servicing offices throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia as well as oversee worldwide inventory yield management and operations research. She will also retain the management of travel relationships that provide support to Interval’s members who reside outside the United States.
“Lourdes has made many significant contributions to the organization and is a very valued member of the operations team,” said Jeanette Marbert, chief operating officer of Interval International. “Her knowledge and experience will be tremendous assets as we move forward in bringing additional benefits and services to our global developer clients and consumer member families.”
She joined Interval International in 1987 as a research analyst, and subsequently served as manager of operations research, director of systems and operations management, assistant vice president for international operations, and most recently, vice president of international member services.
Ms. Rodríguez has been a participant in the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) for the past twelve years. She is a member of the Leadership Circle of the United Way of Miami-Dade. She also has been a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers.
