DMITRI PEKHTEREV NAMED ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT
OF RESORT SALES AND SERVICE AT INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL
Miami, Florida, 10 de septiembre de 2015 – Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services, announced the promotion of Dmitri Pekhterev to assistant vice president of resort sales and service. In his new position, he leads department activities in the Spanish-speaking Caribbean islands, all of Central America, and South American countries excluding Brazil. He continues to report to Marcos Agostini, Interval's senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Latin America.
"For more than a decade, Dmitri's extensive industry knowledge and expertise have been instrumental in helping Interval establish a stronghold in this vitally important region," said Agostini. "In this expanded role, his skills and experience will be of even greater benefit in furthering the company's goals of increasing market share and providing superior service."
Based at Interval's World Headquarters in Miami, Pekhterev oversees the team that manages Interval's resort relationships in these areas and plays the lead role in building the company's developer client base. He also manages strategic partnerships and regularly speaks at industry conferences.
Pekhterev joined Interval in 2002 as Caribbean account executive and since then has held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as director for Central America and the Andean region. Prior to joining Interval, he worked in the shared ownership industry in Colombia and Venezuela.
He is an active participant in the Colombia Timeshare Association (ASTIEMPO) and the Shared Ownership and Timeshare Association (CAMYTCOM) in Venezuela. Pekhterev received a bachelor of science degree from the State Technical University in St. Petersburg, Russia, with a major in physics and a minor in mathematics.
