Hickman, who is based in Singapore, was selected by his peers, as a result of his many achievements over the last 25 years. He has spent his entire professional career in the hospitality and timeshare industries, with more than two decades specifically in the Asia-Pacific region, amassing experience in a broad range of areas including sales and marketing, finance, resort services, business development, government and media relations, and call center operations.
Darren Ettridge, senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia for Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services, said, "Joe has been a driving force in growing Interval's resort network in this very appealing region. In addition to his involvement in ATHOC, Hickman has served and continues to serve on a variety of industry boards, including the timeshare associations of both Singapore and Thailand, the Malaysian Timeshare Federation, New Zealand Holiday Ownership Council (NZHOC), and numerous other trade related bodies.
